How much does it cost to get started?

Nothing. We require no up-front payment from you. We are so confident that you will absolutely love our designs that we will completely design your website - and if you don't love it, we won't charge you a penny (and we won't hassle you about it either). If you like what you see (and nearly everyone does), we require a 50% deposit to finalize the design and begin coding your website. The remaining 50% is due after you are completely satisfied with the final product.

Do you offer payment plans?

We haven't formally drawn up any payment plans, but if you're not sure you can afford our 50/50 arrangement, give us a call and we'll try to work something out.

Do you offer Hosting and/or Support?

Yes. Our basic hosting is $25/mo. Higher-level hosting packages give you significant discounts on support. Click here to see all of our hosting & support options.

Can I host my website somewhere else?

Yes. You are free to host your website anywhere you like, but we can't offer a Warranty after we hand the code over to you. We still offer limited support to websites hosted offsite for a fee.

Do I have to live near Dallas to buy a website from you?

Nope. We're happy to accept clients from anywhere in the world. However, if you do live in the Dallas area, we'd be more than happy to have a face-to-face chat.

Can I see samples of your work? Where is your portfolio?

The privacy of our clients is very important to us, so we do not disclose their identities or offer our work for them as samples. The website you are viewing right now was built by us using the same process that we use for our clients. The quality of the design of this site is what you would expect from the Bronze website package. If you want a better idea of how good our designs are, start a project with us! We'll mock-up as many designs as we can, tailored directly for your business. If you don't like any of them, we'll cancel your project, and we won't charge you a penny.

Do you offer a warranty on your websites?

Yes. As long as your website is hosted by us, we'll fix any problems that rise within 72 hours of you reporting the problem to us.

Do you offer a Service Level Argeement (SLA)?

Yes. If your website experiences any unplanned downtime during a month, your account will be credited for the amount of one month's hosting and support package fees. "Unplanned downtime" is when your website is inaccessable to the general internet population for at least 1 minute, and we have not given you at least 1 week notice that we are planning maintenence. Planned downtime, when required (which is generally once or twice a year), will always be performed sometime between the hours of 12AM and 5AM Central Time, and will generally last less 30 minutes. We use our planned downtime to make the websites we host faster, more reliable, and more secure.

Where does the name Kookaburra come from?

The Kookaburra is a large bird native to Australia. It is best known for its unmistakable call, which sounds uncannily like loud, echoing human laughter. The Kookaburra is also the subject of a popular children's song.
